New work: Host of Leyton

I've never been very good at posting work here on LinkedIn, so I've decided to change that in 2023 and start documenting my projects.

First up, here's the website I designed and made for Host of Leyton.

Host is a multi-use cultural space in East London. The team go to a lot of effort to work with small local projects in addition to high-end businesses, to create a shared creative platform in an area experiencing rapid gentrification.

For those interested in the technical details, I built the site in Hugo to make use of its high quality image-processing pipeline (the site resizes and color-grades images automatically). It uses Netlify CMS to structure the content and make editing easier (not all the team are comfortable with Github), and it has optional Shopify units for selling seasonal goods.
