New Whitepaper: Driving Underwriting Profitability and Producer Loyalty

PS Advisory LLC and I have released a new whitepaper that dives into a new concept we're calling the "Friction Gap" and the impact it has on both underwriting and distribution management. We feel the Friction Gap is a novel approach that will help insurers drive both operational strategy and improve project plan development because it focuses on addressing issues and business outcomes that keep senior management up at night. The Friction Gap process also can be leveraged to identify how insurers are performing against the rest of the market. and highlight where insurers need to improve to compete effectively.

While the Friction Gap can be applied to any aspect of the insurance value chain, this paper focuses on the impact of managing underwriting processes and supporting producer relationships.
