New Webinar | Engineering-Grade OT Security: A manager's guide

I am pleased to announce the release of my 3rd book: Engineering-grade OT Security: A Manager’s Guide.

To celebrate the book's launch I am hosting a webinar to give you an overview of the topics in the new book. It is happening Wednesday, Nov 1 at 11 AM New York time and you can register here.

The book and webinar explores engineering approaches to OT cyber risk. For example, if your life depended on a boiler not blowing up in a cyber attack, which protection would you prefer? A mechanical, spring-loaded, overpressure release valve? Or a longer password on the computer controlling the boiler?

Engineering grade solutions are deterministic, mathematically model-able, and in a real sense, "unhackable". The new book looks at consequences, criticality and engineering-grade solutions, and uses all these to explore the question "how much is enough?" Cyber protections for a high-speed rail switching system really should be very different from protections at a small shoe factory.?

I hope you will join me on Wednesday, November 1st! Register here.

Until next time,
