New Webhooks
For clients using BidJS professional and above you will now have access to two new webhooks.
What is a webhook?
A webhook enables real-time communication between different software systems by allowing one application to notify another about specific events or updates.
Auction Status Change
This hook fires whenever an auction status changes.
How could I use it?
If you are not using Bidlogix to invoice your buyers you can use this webhook as a trigger to collect the results of the auction when the auction is reconciled.
We have also see some clients create auction calendars on the pages of their sites outside of BidJS. This webhook could be used to trigger an update to the calendar when an auction is set live or archived.
Item Status Change
The Item Status Change webhook is triggered when an item's status is changed. A status change event is sent when;

How could I use it?
If you manage your stock outside of Bidlogix this webhook can be used as a trigger to call the item API to update the sale information held in your stock system.
Using an automation tool such as Zapier you could use this hook to trigger customer notifications, such as a confirmation SMS to the winner of the item.
What will you build?
The above are just a few suggestions. By adding these hooks to our software we are continuing to provide a more and more flexible system that is easy to integrate with other software solutions. Using tools like Zapier, Open AI etc there are countless different workflows you can trigger from these hooks, we are really looking forward to seeing what our community builds.
