New Way Forward One village at a time

My sincerest welcome again to all of you who are following my posts and articles. I can't believe that so many have joined so quickly. It keeps me motivated to do more. In fact, it was responsible for my new friend, my brother, Sam Sseguya, who works as a volunteer in Uganda, receiving enough food to help feed his village just this week. The blessings continue as we work together to connect the c-op of artisenal craftworkers from his village, currently being formed. And shortly being connected to some friends in the high fashion industry. Boutique fashion and designers working directly with villagers for mutual benefit through mutual respect and caring. This is the model of global development we have. No ridiculous administrative fees from long aid agencies of 80-85%. No more 50 step link just to get to the people who YOU would like to help. We are working on a network of local community based PODS (People Oriented Development Service). These are all to be totally independent, run by the very people of that community. These then are supported by the entire network globally. We are working on providing some basic communication technology and Mr. Elon Musk's new skylink receivers to provide 5G service anywhere in the world. Sam and a few other more remote areas are using their phones for now. But we have had face time so we can play music together (online), we can see and talk to the children and mothers of this community. We can make friends and really care because these people are no longer numbers in some UN statistics. No, this is family. When they hurt we hurt. When they laugh, sing and love, we feel the joy. This is connection. I am presenting an invitation for any and all to become a part of this “New Way Forward”, and I would be honoured by anyone who wishes to also become a part of our larger scale family :).

I have been talking to some local people here in PEI asking for assistance in some of the more technical side of things, videoing and editing and such as well we are still searching for more cloud storage to allow a collection of applications of appropriate tech that can be used locally by any PODS to use solar, wind, biomass, waste water treatment, filters for potable water, recycling of garbage and turning it into profitable income even in somewhat desperate locations while offering much needed services to one's neighbors. There is already a wealth of knowledge and tech. We want to open source share and offer tech support and our own volunteers for those so inclined. I spent 25 years abroad as a visible minority in another culture and language, many actually. I was in Africa, Central America and Asia and the experiences have made me who I am now.

So welcome, please comment and give your thoughts and opinions, they are valuable and we all learn and grow together through exchange. Mutually respectful, mutually beneficial. The foundation of the friendship that grows into a true family bond.

PS. The videos on at the moment are my sons and I taking a step back and getting a bright refreshed look at life by going to the shore and playing guitar. Yes, people sometimes stare, but more come up and just smile. Sharing their love in a more relaxed way. Blessing to you all. May you find the inner peace and love you truly deserve.
