A New Vision for Women and Wealth

A New Vision for Women and Wealth

Wealth is often considered a dirty word. It carries the connotation of selfishness or evil, or ill-gotten gain.?????

Who would want that?????

And yet, we also know that wealth can be used for positive transformation.???

In my view, far too many women have internalized the belief that wealth is not meant for us or that seeking it somehow makes us less worthy.???

The symptom of this mindset shows up as insecurity.??

We are uncomfortable talking about money. We charge lower prices for our products and services. We don’t know how to ask for a raise or an increase at work, much less investment or a loan.???

We want to buy everything “on sale” as if paying full price isn’t an option.???

I could go on and on about where and how these ideas were planted in our heads and rail against systems that hold in place Inequity in pay, investments, etc.???

But that wouldn’t really solve the issue. It doesn’t matter where the idea came from that women don’t deserve to be wealthy just because we’re women. What matters is that we choose to take the individual journey of shifting our emotions, beliefs, and actions around wealth creation.???

??

Changing the Internal Narrative???

When women acquire wealth, we don’t just change our own lives—we change our families and communities and ultimately create new systems that foster a belief that we, too, can have material, financial, and spiritual success.????

To truly create change, we must start within ourselves. The mindset that we carry about wealth is the first barrier we must break down.???

Too many of us have adopted the idea that wealth is something to be ashamed of or that seeking financial power makes us less authentic and less caring. But wealth is a tool—and it’s one that we can use to reshape the world for ourselves and future generations.???

We have learned that the only way to approach finances and money is through survival, scarcity, and competition for resources.????

Think about it: How often do you and your girlfriends talk about wealth creation? How do you feel about having more than what you need financially for the next several generations? How can wealth be used to help others instead of harming them???

?It’s time to shift from survival thinking to visionary thinking.???

?Wealth is not about what we can get for ourselves; it’s about what we can build for our communities. It’s about creating generational abundance and investing in a future where women don’t struggle to be heard, seen, or valued. When we shift our mindset from one of scarcity to one of abundance, we unlock a power that we have learned to be afraid of.???

At True to You: Women of Influence, we will guide you through this critical mindset shift. Together, we will shift the internal barriers that have kept us small, held us back, and made us feel like wealth was out of reach.????

We will lovingly and powerfully confront the limiting beliefs born from society and oppressive systems and replace them with a new individualized vision of what’s possible. It’s time to step into our power—not just for ourselves, but for the future.????

Wealth as a Tool for Liberation???

Let’s be clear: Wealth is not about greed. It’s about liberation. It’s about reclaiming the resources that can change our lives and the lives of others.???

When we have wealth, we have options.???

Wealth gives us the ability to invest in our communities, support causes that matter, and create spaces where others can rise.????

The wealth we seek is not for personal gain alone—it’s for the collective. It’s about ensuring that future generations inherit a world where they can thrive without the barriers we’ve had to navigate. Imagine a world where women, and in particular women of color, don’t have to fight for their seat at the table because they’re building their own. Imagine a future where young girls grow up seeing women not only in positions of power but also in control of the resources that shape the world.????

Wealth is more than money; it’s influence, security, and legacy. And it’s ours to claim. It’s time to step into our birthright to understand that we deserve financial independence, abundance, and the power that comes with it.?????

Building a Future for Generations to Come???

We are the ones who will break the chains of financial limitation and scarcity. We are the ones who will show future generations what’s possible when we rise together. And we are the ones who will use wealth as a force for justice, for healing, and for building a world that works for everyone.????

We are creating a new legacy—a legacy of empowerment, vision, and abundance. The decisions we make today about how we build wealth will ripple out to the next generation. We are planting seeds that will grow into a new understanding of what it means to be a powerful woman.???

True to You is more than just a gathering—it’s a movement. It’s about equipping women with the tools, mindset, and community needed to rise, not in spite of the obstacles but because of them.??
