The interactions during my training workshops have been the strongest source of ideas and innovation for ScaleUp Consultants. My corporate batch a few weeks back put me across some young passionate software engineers who had just entered the corporate world and wanted to make a difference in their domain. These bunch of kids motivate and drag my brain down the memory lane to my initial days as a fresher. I decided to grab the opportunity and called them for lunch.
As and how we started opening up about our professions, I tried to test their understanding about Agile, Scrum, stand-ups, Project Management, etc. To my wonder and even though the company claimed Agile mode of operations and development, they said “Agile is a buzzword these days. Doesn’t it mean more work hours and constant hovering?”
For the first time I felt just training and consulting is not going to fulfill my goal of spreading Agility, and the right Agile Mindset. A training workshop lasts for a few days, and consulting, for a few hours. I wanted to constantly be available to handle or answer all their doubts and inhibitions about Agile and its values and principles the moment it struck them.
When shared this with my fellow colleagues at Scale Up, they came up with the idea of posting videos on YouTube. Like I mentioned earlier young people inspire and motivate me, my Scale Up family always brings crazy unusual solutions to my issues.
ScaleUp has launched two YouTube series,
#AskVineet – I will answer all basic to advanced Agile queries that may occur to people from the junior development team to the Agile coaches. Short 4-5 min videos that will ensure will help you in some way or the other. Click here to watch our first few episodes
#LiveShots – These are video snippets from my live training workshop. Could be a PMI-ACP prep class or an Agile Coach Certification workshop. This is majorly for those who have missed a part of your syllabus for some training and want to revisit those through my videos. Click here to watch our first few episodes
I have started believing in this kind of knowledge sharing. What do you think folks? Is this method of being available at your time and comfort predicting the right spread of Agile?

7 年I agree with you 100% Now a days Agile is being a buzz word; Many people does not understand values and principles of Agile and directly jump on Scrum, Jira, user stories etc. I have seen your videos on values and principles; and they are good. As you said it promotes basic human values! Vineet, it's great initiative to spread the knowledge. Greatly appreciated
