24 August 2022 - The Bookkeeper will supports the Financial Controller by processing all routine and foundational accounting transactions of the Department Team.

The role will ensure accuracy of capture and flags unusual, or incorrect accounting entries to ensure that they are corrected before entry thereby ensuring minimal correcting adjustments at month-end.

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for the accurate filing and retrieval of all supporting documentation such as invoices, debit and credit notes, banking and departmental pre-lists, Bank Statements and other backup documents

Requirements:

1. 5 Years of experience in an Accounts leadership role
2. Demonstrated previous experience in a luxury 5-Star accommodation environment
3. Proficient in the standards of accounting used in South Africa?
4. Proficient user of Accounting Software packages?
5. Proficient user of Microsoft Office software applications?

Conversant with specialist terminology including;

• Ability to accurately process accounting transactions
