Fabrication/Welding Instructor - Based in Grimsby - £37,070-£38,637
We are delighted to be supporting a rapidly expanding Group Training Association with training centres in Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe to hire a Fabrication/Welding Instructor. The start date for this position is January 2024.
We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator with knowledge of pipe fitting, plating and sheet metal work, who feels they have the right skills and attributes to pass their knowledge and experience to the next generation of welders/fabricators.
You will bring your industry experience and a desire to be part of developing the next generation of skilled technicians.
The successful applicant will have good craft/technical skills, good interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and more than five years industrial experience.

Childcare Assessor/Tutor - Based in South Wales - £24,000-£25,000
We are delighted to be supporting Wales largest training provider to recruit a Childcare Assessor/Tutor to join their team.?The role is field based covering the South Wales (Caerphilly, Aberdare, Ebbw Vale and Pontypool) area and fits within the JGW+ provision reporting to the Delivery Manager with a lead responsibility of Childcare delivery.
We are looking for a passionate individual who will support JGW+ learners within the workplace. The role involves assessing learners and delivering workshops based around level 1 and level 2 in Childcare. You will be responsible for a caseload of learners ensuring timely qualification completion and positive progression of learners.
We are looking for an Assessor/ Tutor with a minimum of 2 years’ occupational experience along with a minimum of Level 3 occupational based qualification or equivalent in Childcare.

Examples - Ensure you are able to further support your answers with examples, apply knowledge to scenarios.
Dress Appropriately - Making a good first impression is vital, plan your outfit beforehand.
Unique - Offer something exciting . Often there will be multiple candidates, what makes you different.
Confidence - Sell yourself, what can you offer, qualifications and experience.
Ask - Prepare questions ahead of the interview.
Tailor - Ensure you tailor your CV and answers to suit the particular position and company.
Eliminate - Make it make sense, ensure your CV is easy to understand and doesn't raise any questions, e.g career gaps etc.
Determine -Ensuring you research the company and job descriptions, allows you to determine the questions that may come up.
