3 个月Is there anyway way I can get help for my reforestation project in my village in Kumiane in Pangia district of Southern Highlands province in Papua New Guinea? I have been planting native trees since 2022 using my own funds supported by my SME. I have been employing local indigenous communities to plant a 100ha customary lands which I own. These lands have been deforested years ago by my ancestors. I have planted a 10ha area with 5000+ native trees plants and spent over K8000. Had asked PNG Govt departments like Conservation & Environment Protection Authority),the Climate Change Development Agency and the Forestry department but they've been saying 'no money' to help ever since. I am volunteering to teach my indigenous people to take ownership in saving the planet by planting trees using my project as an example.
