What is the JPO Program?

The JPO Program is a two-year developmental program for young professionals providing a pathway to a UN career. JPOs work on pressing global issues such as food insecurity, climate change, and human rights. Positions are available in diverse locations like Bangkok, Geneva, Nairobi, New York, and more.

Eligibility

Candidates must:

• Be a U.S. citizen
• Have a master’s degree + 3 years of experience or a bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience
• Be no older than 32 years as of December 31 of the application year
