You guys are incredible. We've surpassed our goal, enough so that we're now equipped to offer new incentives for backers!?

Our first new reward is one we've looked forward to for a long time: a hoodie! Made by Bella + Canvas, it's an ultra-soft, ultra light zip-up hoodie. Seriously guys, it's so comfy.?

A comic series inspired by a neo-futuristic 2070s Richmond, Virginia. ?????????? ?‘Southtown’ is an independent comic series written by Joshua Eadie, illustrated by Wil Smith, and colored and lettered by Ally Slawson. ? We have been hard at work bringing this world to life, and now we need your help! Our goal with this campaign is to fund the production and distribution of Southtown #1: City Rats. ?City Rats is the first issue of an exciting ten-episode story, entitled ‘In Your Head’, following a crew of criminal freelancers whose latest corporate heist is not what it seems, and a snarky uptown girl who gets more than she bargained for. Southtown may be closer than you think; in fact, the entire story arc has already been written! ?Illustration, coloring, and lettering are well underway, and our intent is to have this first issue ready for purchase and distribution before the end of 2023. ?Joshua has been writing and creating the world of Southtown since 2019, though it did not begin life as a comic series. A devoted fan of dystopian science fiction, especially anything in the cyberpunk subgenre, Joshua spent months exercising his creativity and staving off boredom by writing a setting in which he could represent his friends as a silly sort of hacker gang. ? However, as the stories became darker and the characters developed over time, Joshua began looking for a medium through which to express them. By the time he met Ally later that year, it had become clear that Southtown was meant to be a comic series.
