NEW UAE Corporate Tax Deadline Announced - May 2024
A new UAE Corporate Tax deadline has been announced by the Federal Tax Authority (FTA). The FTA has published Decision No. 3 of 2024 setting out the timelines within which taxable persons need to submit their corporate tax registration application.
The deadline will depend on the date the resident UAE entity was issued its license.
For example, entities with a license issued between 1 January - 31 January will need to submit their application by 31 May 2024.
Businesses should consider this update carefully so they are ready to meet the relevant deadlines and avoid late registration as penalties of AED 10,000 will apply.
