NEW TRACKED CARRIER 1200PRO FOR CALDER LIFTING SERVICES.

Founded in 1985, Calder Lifting Services Limited is a multi-discipline crane and lifting specialist. Services include crane sale and hire and contract lifting, as well as design and installation of overhead cranes.

Based in the Calder Valley in West Yorkshire, the company provides a wide range of services to clients across northern England, with customers in the construction, utilities and logistics sectors among others.

Calder Lifting has purchased a 1200 Pro from Tracked Carriers to help various aspects of its work, including transporting steel for overhead crane installations, as well as carrying plant equipment for industrial and utilities clients.

The 1200 Pro is a flatbed carrier on crawler tracks, designed for working in restricted spaces and for traversing rough terrain. At just 750mm wide, it can fit through standard doorways and carry loads of up to 1,200kg. The battery-powered 1200 Pro features fully proportional remote controls and can tackle gradients of up to 45%. With compact dimensions and an unladen weight of just 340kg it can be easily transported in a van.

“The best feature of the 1200 Pro from Tracked Carriers is its versatility. It has compact dimensions yet still has high carrying and towing capacities. We will deploy it for moving steel for our overhead crane installations and it will also go out on hire to select clients.

“In addition, we do a lot of work for water companies, taking big valves in and out of reservoir stilling basins, and it will be perfect for that job, too, as it can deal with the sloped ground around the sites. Similarly, we can use it to tow large, specialist plant equipment into factories for installation.
