This new textile is the first side curtain with recycled parts.
In the following, we will discuss the application of our new sustainable textile as a truck tarp. Nevertheless, in the past, we have already written an article about our other materials for truck tarpaulins. For general information, you are welcome to read this one again.
Sustainability
The uniqueness of the material is that it’s made of up to 50% recycled raw materials, divided into a share of up to 25% recycled raw materials in the coating mass and 100% r-PES yarns.?
Functionality
POLYMAR? 8556 ECO CF is also characterized as high functionality tarp. It is weldable, UV-resitant, weatherproof. With the SolidskinTec finish it also provides a longer life span. Furthermore, it is dirt repellent and thus requires half the cleaning effort compared to regular tarpaulins.

Comparison of two products
The POLYMAR? 8556 ECO CF is in no way inferior to the POLYMAR? 8556. The only difference is the used yarn in the sustainable product and the share of recycled plastic in the coating. These differences do not affect the quality, as you can see in the document that compares both possibilities.
