As the new Star Wars movie debuts, a look inside the BB-8

We recently looked inside the BB-8 toy to see how its creators moved the droid around and managed the electronics. The result is a short YouTube video. One thing I forgot to mention in the video: It appears the temperature sensor probe doubles as an antenna for the Bluetooth Smart chip. The BB-8 moves around under the command of a smart-phone app via the Bluetooth Smart connection. All in all, some interesting features in this thing.
