New standard for production and sustainability at Heinz-Glas

法孚集团 was entrusted by HEINZ-GLAS Group to install a new all-electric furnace at their Piesau plant in Germany.

Heinz-Glas wanted to replace its old gas furnace with Fives’ all-electric melting technology to produce luxury cosmetic bottles for the glass packaging industry. To address this need, Fives installed its?Prium? E-Melt?technology, which offers reduced emissions and increased energy efficiency to?significantly decarbonize?glass production.

The furnace installation was part of Heinz-Glas’ commitment to create a more sustainable industry and reduce CO2?emissions on site. Since becoming operational at the end of 2024, the new furnace can produce 70 tpd, setting a?new standard for both production and sustainability.?
