New Staff Spotlight: Jeremy Goedeke

After having worked for the Northbrook Park District for nearly three years, Jeremy Goedeke is back in a new role as recreation specialist to help oversee youth programs, summer camps and special events.

A native of suburban Villa Park, Jeremy earned a choir scholarship to Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, where he studied health and human performance with an emphasis in sports management.

Jeremy worked as site director for the Northbrook Park District’s Adventure Campus in 2018, then as athletics coordinator through fall 2020.

He left Northbrook to take a full-time position as coordinator for the Butterfield Park District ’s e-learning site. He then was hired as campus manager at Shepherds College , a three-year college for individuals with disabilities in Union Grove, Wisconsin, where he supervised a staff of about 35 college students and recent graduates.
