New Staff Spotlight: April Matan
April Matan started her new position as human resources generalist for the Northbrook Park District on March 25.?
In her role, April M. is responsible for recruiting for open positions, onboarding new hires and rehires, managing the Paycom Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), among other duties.
April has a bachelor’s degree in communication from Loyola University Chicago and maintains a Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR).
April began her career in human resources while finishing college, and has worked in various fields including manufacturing, financial services and medical technology.
In addition to her human resources experience, April is a registered dental hygienist and works for a dental practice in Park Ridge on weekends.
