New Stadium Renderings Spark Interest: Kansas Eyes Chiefs Relocation with State-Funded Project
After a failed ballot initiative to secure the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals' future in Missouri, Kansas legislators are exploring options to attract the teams across state lines.
Earlier, a proposal that included significant updates to Arrowhead Stadium was rejected by voters in Jackson County, Missouri. However, new plans unveiled in Kansas suggest a potential domed stadium for the Chiefs.
While no official decisions have been made and the teams have not confirmed any intention to relocate, the proposed stadium near Kansas Speedway and Children’s Mercy Park in the Legends—just 30 minutes from the current Arrowhead Stadium—could be an enticing prospect for the Chiefs, particularly if Kansas funds a substantial part of the development, as reported by John Holt from Fox4 Kansas City.
The possibility of the Chiefs moving to Kansas has stirred strong feelings among Missouri fans, though with no immediate plans for relocation, their concerns remain speculative for now.

Its concluded that if all games had been played on grass during that period there would have been 319 fewer foot and leg injuries. Looking only at non-contact injuries the risk was even higher, about 20% more injuries per play. #openairnomatterwhere
