Wix Updates

Add gradients to the backgrounds of containers, Repeaters and grid cells

You can add gradients to the backgrounds of containers, grid cells and Repeaters in the Studio Editor.

Choose from Radial, Linear, Conic or Fluid gradients, add and control the size and opacity of colours as needed.

Plus, the gradients are live CSS, which means optimized performance and no workarounds.

Make an impact with Glass Effect

Glass effect is a striking way to add texture and depth to site content.

You can apply the effect to containers, repeaters and cells by toggling it on in the Inspector panel. Adjust the colour and opacity until you get the look you want.

New sale price layouts in Wix Stores Galleries

Highlight discounts by controlling the order in which prices and discounts are displayed during sales, making it easier for customers to spot savings.

Online Programs: customize the visitor and participant pages separately

You can view, customize and publish program pages from a separate Visitor page and Participant page in the Editor, while on the live site they’ll appear as different views from the same page. This lets you more easily control which content to show to site visitors, and which content to show to participants who are enrolled.

CMS: display content from collections directly on Wix Stores product pages

Use the CMS to display content directly on Wix Stores product pages for more layout and design freedom. Easily add extra info to product listing, giving site visitors a better experience.

Make the final move from Editor X to Wix Studio

Starting November, Editor X will be phasing out and all sites will be updated to Wix Studio.

What you need to know:

• Your live sites shouldn’t be affected
• Your dashboard, SEO, and site settings will be preserved
• All plans, domains, and subscriptions will stay connected

We recommend updating any remaining Editor X sites to Studio before the deadline.
