New Shoes for Kids Thanks to EXIT Realty Elite and the Spirit of EXIT
The team at EXIT Realty Elite in Nashville, Tennessee worked hard to raise funds over a month to benefit Soles4Souls, including collecting donations through a live music show and telethon.
“I chose Soles4Souls because I am friends with their Director of Outreach and because of her, I know the need right here in the USA,” said Kel Williams, Owner of EXIT Realty Elite. “The organization advances its anti-poverty mission by collecting new and used shoes and clothes from individuals, schools, faith-based institutions, civic organizations and corporate partners, then distributing those shoes and clothes both via direct donations to people in need and by provisioning qualified micro-enterprise programs designed to create jobs in poor and disadvantaged communities.”
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. The team at EXIT Realty Elite raised $3,250 which EXIT Realty Corp. International was proud to match, for a total donation to Soles4Souls of $6,500. “That’s a lot of shoes for children!” said Kel.
“The donation you made through your fundraising will do so much good!” said Buddy Teaster, CEO, Soles4Souls. “Because of your generosity, kids will not only receive brand new shoes, they’ll receive dignity and hope, health and happiness.”
