New Scrum Guide
Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland have presented the new version of the Scrum Guide. The only change is that there are additional two paragraphs in this latest update: Scrum values. The Scrum Guide changes not often, so it is always intriguing what has announced such a change. The last Scrum Guide updates were made in 2013. Although it seems like just two paragraphs, the additional five Scrum values provide teams, Scrum principles of inspection, adaption and transparency to evolve into a high-performing team. Pretty many teams try to execute Scrum without paying necessary attention to respect these values unfortunately. Because of they are out of implementing these values, they do not realize the advantages of the framework as they expected. People are in the middle of the Scrum, so this is important for organizations which are used this framework. First read new updated paragraphs and then let’s have a look at the values closer.
Scrum Values
When the values of commitment, courage, focus, openness and respect are embodied and lived by the Scrum Team, the Scrum pillars of transparency, inspection, and adaptation come to life and build trust for everyone.
