A customer purchased a 55KW permanent magnet variable frequency screw air compressor. It has been used for less than a month. After finding that the operating noise is abnormal, it suddenly stops automatically. Press the start button and find that it cannot start running. After inspection, the lubricating oil in the oil separation barrel of the screw compressor has turned into a milky white liquid (oil-water emulsification phenomenon), and the rotor of the screw main engine is rusted and stuck, which makes it unable to operate.
Why is there water inside the screw compressor? What is the reason for this phenomenon? How should it be avoided?
The main engine of the screw air compressor is afraid of water, why is there water? It is necessary to prevent the oil from being emulsified with water, and to avoid the loss of production of your screw compressor due to rusting of accumulated water. The precautions for use are as follows:
First of all, we need to understand why the screw main engine accumulates water?
1. Friends who have used air conditioners know that the air conditioner has a drain pipe. Normally, the air conditioner can discharge 20-25 liters of water for one night. This water is formed by the condensation of moisture in the atmosphere by the air conditioner compressor.
2. When the screw air compressor is running, the compressed air also contains the condensed water in the atmosphere. During the continuous operation of the machine, after the oil temperature gradually rises to 80 °C, the condensed water in the oil begins to volatilize, and the water increases with the temperature. Compressed air is discharged into the air tank.
3. Due to the selection of models or the user's extremely small gas consumption, the operating loading rate of the screw machine is seriously low, resulting in the screw oil temperature not reaching above 80 ℃ for a long time.

Oil emulsification formation: lubricating oil + condensed water + emulsifier (solid particles)
Solid particles: According to the stability theory of emulsifiers, many solid particles, such as calcium carbonate, clay, carbon black, quartz, metal basic sulfates, metal oxides and sulfides, can be used as emulsifiers to stabilize the emulsion. effect. Obviously, solid particles can play the role of emulsifier only if they exist on the oil-water interface. Whether the solid particles exist in the oil phase, the water phase or on their interface depends on the relative wettability of oil and water to the solid particles. If the solid particles are completely wetted by water, they will be suspended in water and the particles will be completely covered by oil. When wet, it is suspended in oil. Only when the solid particles can be wetted by water and oil, will they stay on the oil-water interface to form a firm interface layer (film) and play a stabilizing role. The stronger the membrane, the more stable the emulsion.
Solution?
1. Properly extend the unloading time of the SEN screw air compressor, and artificially raise the oil temperature to above 85 °C for operation.
2. Before and after the installation of the SEN screw air compressor, the user's gas consumption should be fully understood. After the new customer is installed, a return visit must be made to check the actual operating rate of the customer and observe the oil status. This is very important!
3. In the case of low gas consumption, the SEN screw machine should be shut down for 6 hours and then the condensed water in the oil and gas barrel should be emptied regularly until the oil flows out. (How long it takes to discharge depends on the use environment of the SEN screw machine)
4. For users with very small gas consumption, properly adjust the opening temperature of the cooling fan, appropriately increase the off-line frequency of the SEN variable frequency screw compressor, and adjust the start and stop temperature of the fan to 85-95 degrees.
5. Normally, put the water in the oil and gas barrel once a week, and put the water in the oil and gas barrel once every morning in the rainy season or in the humid environment. How to discharge the water: Open the oil-gas barrel oil-drain valve before starting the machine in the morning until a small amount of lubricating oil flows out, and then close the valve.
6. The gas storage tank must also remember to release water in time.
