A New Scoreboard From An Old Friend
Councillor Adam Rolfe, the Ward Councillor for the Bletchley West Ward on Milton Keynes Council is a former student of Lord Grey Academy. During his time at Lord Grey, Adam was involved in Sports Teams, was a House Captain, and Head Boy during his final year of Sixth Form.
Recently Councillor Rolfe returned to Lord Grey, when he came to visit with the Wellbeing department to see the new Scoreboard that he partially funded thanks to a generous donation that came from his Ward Budget Allowance.
Our values of Determination, Ambition, Curiosity, Integrity and Civility are caught, taught and sought out so that we develop the character of Lord Grey students to prepare them for life beyond school and we love hearing from former students as they tell us what they have achieved building on the foundation of success that they laid here at Lord Grey.

Councillor Rolfe had warm memories of his time at Lord Grey from playing basketball, to being in lessons and reminisced with Richard Henry and Liam Morris whilst being given a demonstration of what the new scoreboard can do. Councillor Rolfe was excited to be able to help Lord Grey Academy with the scoreboard purchase, which will make a huge difference to students who belong to the various Lord Grey Sports Teams and will see a lot of use from all the future matches that the Wellbeing team have in place!
We know here at Lord Grey that we achieve our aims by working as a team. Students, parents and teachers work together supported by the local community in helping students develop an awareness of the world around them and the part which they, as individuals, can play in shaping the future.
We're very grateful for an old friend, showing that our community is indeed Team Lord Grey and proving once more that Lord Grey Can!
