Hello and welcome to the latest edition of our newsletter. In this issue we look at the new safety features on our Ejector Trailers. Our research and design is constantly evolving and we're always looking at new innovations throughout our trailer range.
Our repair service has been busy this month. It's great to see damaged trailers getting back out on the roads.
The staff at our Granville HQ (in Northern Ireland) are taking a well deserved break, but not before firing up the BBQ! (more on that below). They will be back (bright and breezy!) on Monday 5th August

New Safety Features for BMI Ejector Trailers
Our latest fully leak-proof 100yd3 ejector trailer left for Glasgow last week. This new trailer will be used by Glasgow City Council under contract by NRG Riverside to transport food and general waste.
This trailer has several new safety features including cyclist warning systems and all-round vision cameras.
We are delighted to have completed this order for Glasgow City Council - its always a pleasure - and we are excited to work with NRG on this one also.
BMI Repair Service
This Bulk Logistics trailer came to us with a damaged side wall. We removed the damaged section, added a new one, repainted it and returned the trailer to service. As good as new!?

Celebrating the Start of our Summer Holidays with a BBQ!
Our Granville HQ (Northern Ireland) is closed from Monday 22nd July and reopens Monday 5th August at 7am. Before our shutdown we had a lovely BBQ to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication this year.
We also celebrated two big birthdays Eoghan who is 21 and Stewart who is 30. Happy birthday guys!
Thanks to everyone who helped out at the BBQ. Now we're off to find some sun...
15.65m Longer Semi-Trailers (LSTs)

This trailer is one of our latest in a large batch for an existing customer. The 15.65m 150yd3 (115m3) Cargo Floor equipped transfer trailer is going into service in August with new tractor units.
LSTs (Longer Semi-Trailers) are ideal for moving the same volume of goods using fewer journeys than current trailers. They are being encouraged by the UK government to help reduce overall emissions, reduce congestion and collision risks.
They are ideal for transporting biomass and other DMR material as they provide an extra 15% increase in volume!
BMI Team Help to Raise an Amazing Total for Marie Curie
You may remember back in May some of the BMI team ran the Belfast City Marathon in aid of Marie Curie UK.
We had a lot of very kind and generous donations from friends, family, suppliers, customers and many others and we raised a total of ￡2,143. Add that to the rest of the Belfast City Marathon runners and we helped to raise an outstanding total of...

Marie-Curie have said that this money will pay for 3,112 hours of care from a Marie Curie Nurse for people with terminal illnesses.
We are delighted to have made such a difference to a very worthwhile cause and a charity that is close to a lot of our hearts. Well done again to our marathon runners and to everyone who supported them.
