New role - Freelance Quantity Surveyor required - Tier One Main Contractor – Grade 2 listed building education refurbishment – North Lancashire Tier One Main Contractor – up to ￡500 per day inside IR35 – this is a fully site based role

Working with one the UK's leading main contractors to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity to work on a site in North Lancashire. The project is ￡25 million in value.

Over the years our client has worked hard to develop a culture very much their own, creating an environment that?brings out the best in people who share our commitment to excellence. The Quantity Surveyor role You will manage a range of commercial aspects including procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations and management of subcontract works packages through to final account. This is an ongoing project that’s been going about a year and finishes middle of 2026. ?

You'll be keen to minimise risk, cost and maximise value by cost checking and analysis of labour, plant and materials. The candidate You will have a degree in BSc Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or equivalent experience/memberships. You should have construction industry experience with a main contractor in a similar role.
