New Revolution... Sharing is Caring... Don't give me a fish but teach me fishing..

In the times of Covid, I have come across multiple Webinars on different topics ranging from Living Life to Financial Literacy.

But sadly most of the times the Webinars turned out to be a Marketing Gimmick for a product that needs to sold..

This made me thinking, Is this an Golden opportunity to really contribute back to the society at large.

Lot of times we come across people telling us to contribute by contributing to a particular fund or doing a good deed.

"Can this good deed be sharing our intellectual knowledge."

I realized I am blessed to know a bunch of people who would want to be part of this revolution by paying back to the society by guiding them, training them with no end objective in mind but just pure intent of sharing.

This reminds me of the most used proverb but less implemented.. "Instead of giving someone a fish actually teach the person to fish."

Growing up in a small town of Patiala I had very limited knowledge of this World when I entered college. And had the same feeling when I eventually entered into the corporate world.

But I was blessed to meet some wonderful friends and mentors over the years who helped me learn and be a better individual every single day. Learning continues.

But there are still many like me sitting in small towns across the country and figuring out what to do, or at different stage of their career just looking for a true mentor who could give a neutral advice.

All my friends who said will join a NGO when they retire :)... Why not do something similar by just giving 1 hour in a week and actually helping people build their careers or actually refining their lives.

In this pursuit, thought of writing this article to seek feedback on how to take this revolution across to people who would really need these neutral educative webinars/advice from topics that really make a difference to their lives.
