We make adopting psychological health and safety at work simple with our world leading experts and scalable tools
Hello!
I hope you are well.
In this email we’ve got a number of new and exclusive resources and content that have not been released publicly before.
After several sold out webinars on ‘When the Psychosocial Inspector Calls’, we are now releasing the ‘Psychological Health and Safety Cheat Sheet’ to the broader FlourishDx community. See the link below.
We recently had the pleasure of hosting an invite-only event for senior people and safety professionals at our Bentley office with special guest Andrew Barrett of ‘Safety on Tap’ fame. Check out below for the video of the conversation we had with Andrew on the topic of ‘Insights from coaching through messy change’.
There has been a lot of interest in the new webinar we will be delivering for the first time this week on leveraging technology to better understand psychosocial hazard exposure and associated risk. The webinar for this week has no free tickets remaining. Get in quick to secure a ticket to the repeat sessions in the next few weeks.

RESOURCE: Psychological health and safety cheat sheet
With most Australian states now having specific regulations for managing psychosocial risks in place, regulators will be responsible for inspecting duty holders to ensure they have safe systems of work in place to prevent psychological injury. So what is required?
Following on from the successful webinar series that was free for internal people and safety professionals, we are now making this resource available to the whole FlourishDx community. You can also get the background on this on a special ‘Expert Series’ podcast with our resident regulations expert and Global Head of Psychological Health and Safety Joelle Mitchell.
NEW VIDEO: Insights from Coaching through Messy Change – with Andrew Barrett
Two weeks ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming Andrew Barrett to FlourishDx HQ in Bentley to talk on the topic of ‘Insights from coaching through messy change’. We are now making the video of this exclusive talk available to the FlourishDx community.
Synopsis: Knowing what kind of change you want to lead is important, but enabling that change through your function and organisation is an entirely different challenge, which we either ignore, underestimate, or struggle through. Andrew Barrett shares his insights from his work coaching health and safety, and operational leaders, and how you can better enable change no matter how messy.

LIMITED SEATS REMAIN: Psychosocial Hazards: New approaches to predict risk and meet WHS duties Zoom Webinar
With the recent explosion of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) and its seemingly endless applications, why can’t we use technology to better understand psychosocial hazard exposure at work and its impact on employee health and wellbeing?
Compared with physical hazards in the workplace, psychosocial hazard exposures can vary in effect due to individual differences, have a greater propensity to interact with each other, and are harder to identify and understand resultant risks. Previous attempts to understand these hazards based on employee perception style surveys, linear statistical methods (such as correlation and regression) and an over-reliance on qualitative research methods (e.g., focus groups and interviews) have left a lot to be desired in relation to accuracy of risk assessment and operational impact.
There has been some criticism that the WHS regulations on psychosocial risk were ahead of the science due to the requirement to consider psychosocial hazards in exposure terms (severity, frequency and duration) and also consider the interaction of hazards before introducing controls. However, FlourishDx has been on a two-year journey to create a world-first exposure assessment approach to psychosocial risk assessment. This approach leverages ML to take the complex and make it simple to understand hazard exposure, predict risk and take relevant actions to protect worker populations.
Join two experts from FlourishDx as they unpack the WHS requirements for psychosocial risk assessment and how new technology is making it far easier to understand the complex while greatly reducing operational impact.
