  • Symptoms were assessed via the American Urological Association Symptom Index during 4 clinic visits
  • Symptoms decreased an average of 50% for the group as a whole
  • 88% of patients saw improvement in symptoms, most reported at 30 days of use!
  • 28 of the 49 patients (57%) ended the study with only "Mild" symptoms, after starting in the "Moderate" or "Severe" symptom category

Bernard Somers , a PhD candidate in Medicinal Chemistry at Rutgers, was mentored by Rutgers Associate Prof. Nadina Jose, MD, CPI (Hon) . The poster abstract earned Bernard a Travel Award from the American Botanical Council . Bernie has lost no time putting the travel award to good use! He is presently enroute to visit the Crila plantation in Vietnam. Don't miss the poster sessions at The American Society of Pharmacognosy Annual Conference.

Kudos to Dr. Nadina Jose, an experienced global clinical research professional, who supervised our team, and brought in Avik Pal , Founder and CEO at CliniOps, Inc . Patients had only to make an initial visit to the clinic. Decentralized design turned out to be a key factor in the success of study completion. We confirm the bright future decentralization holds for clinical research. CliniOps technology was our best friend as Covid took hold. Many, many thanks to Avik for making this work for us.

Kathy Lenhard the CEO of PanAmerican Clinical Research and her team: Drs. Pablo Gonzalez and Laura Camacho , along with Drs. Francisco Gomez Regalado?-?our Principal Investigator - gave us confidence in our game plan. Annette Ortiz Austin and her team at EPIC Research CRO were a dream to work with!
