"A New Focus for Investor Climate Commitments " For valid reasons, even climate-concerned investors may have reservations about signing on to the major investor initiatives on climate. Tom Gosling—London School of Economics Law School and London Business School Department of Finance—has his eyes wide open. He explores these concerns and points to ways in which investor climate commitments can be made more robust, more effective, and, perhaps, secure even wider support. ?
"3D Investing: Implications for Net Zero " Metrics such as carbon footprints, ESG factors, and sustainable development goals are growing in importance in investment decision making. The challenge is to align these goals. Clint Howard and Mike Chen from Robeco propose a multi-objective optimization framework with an objective function that incorporates a forward-looking net-zero metric.
Hear from BNP Paribas Asset Management’s Jane Ambachtsheer, Raul Leote de Carvalho, and Alex Bernhardt. They share the key takeaways from their research in three brief videos .
