The father of Italian language

Our Comedìa is yet another act of Visconti's love for the city of Florence. Named after the most famous work of the Florentine poet Dante Alighieri, ather of the modern Italian language, the collection is available in three different shades inspired by the canticles of the Divine Comedy: Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso.

DISCOVER THE COLLECTION

Inferno

To reflect the literary pattern of the Divine Comedy, which is divided into three canticles (books), the collection is composed of three different models: Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso.

The Inferno (Hell) is made of solid black resin with flaming-red accents and dark ruthenium trims, evoking the fire and darkness of the Inferno.

Purgatorio

Each model has been conceived with resins and trims designed to best express the imagery of each canticles: Purgatorio (Purgatory) is equipped with palladium trims, while the resin is taupe-brown as the purgatorial mountain with greysh shades representing the purifying journey of the souls.

Paradiso

Paradiso (Heaven) is a celestial sky-blue with yellow gold trim, symbolizing the holy light and joyful nobility of paradise.

The three models are brought together by a special central ring characterized by two bands covered with a hammered texture.?Each central ring is then individually engraved by our craftsmen with the inscription "COMEDIA" followed by the name of the specific model.

I love the purgatory design. It celebrates not only Dante but arguably the only place most of us deserve as well.
