New regional structure at Fortis

Fortis Healthcare has declared a new regional structure and leadership team. The interesting fact is that there are no regional directors henceforth. Two of its regional directors (Ashish Bhatia and Col Harinder Chehal) have been re-designated as regional COOs. Rajesh Verma, regional director – NCR is moving out, while regional director for east and west, Sukhmeet Sandhu, has been given a different role.

Now there is a North & East region which consists of Mohali, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jaipur, Anandpur, FHKI, Rasbehari & FMC units. Ashish Bhatia is the Chief Operating Officer - North & East (COO-N&E).

There is NCR region which consists of FEHI, FMRI, VK, SB, FHN, Faridabad, Aashlok, C-Doc, Raipur, Raigarh & Dehradun and HCCs. Col Harinder Chehal is the Chief Operating Officer - NCR (COO-NCR).

Then, there is the South & West region. This region consists of Mulund, Vashi, S L Raheja, Kalyan, B G Road, CG Road, Nagarbhavi, Rajajinagar, Seshadripuram, Malar & Arcot Road units. Raj Gore (in pic) is the Chief Operating Officer - South & West (COO-S&W).  

Regional director for east and west, Sukhmeet Sandhu, will be taking on the role of Head Business Development and shall operate out of Support Office-Gurgaon. Also, Richa Debgupta, Zonal Director, is appointed as Head - Operational Excellence. She would be based out of the Support Office at UBP Gurgaon.

 The group has also made an announcement regarding the new CIO and head of sales. However, we would refrain from mentioning them as they have not joined the organisation yet.
