The RCR has released a new exam hub with a user-led booking system. Here are a few important points to note regarding the new system:
- The exam hub will show you all the exams you are eligible to book in your pathway stage.
- We suggest you check the date and time that the booking for the exam you want to sit for opens. Remember, all the times mentioned are UK time so find out the corresponding time in your time zone.
- Keep the booking page ready and refresh it a few seconds after the booking opens. Make sure you are in a place with good internet access and have a computer with reasonable specs which will not freeze in the crucial seconds/minutes after booking opens. Previous candidates have reported being unable to access the website when bookings open but hopefully the RCR has improved this with the new hub.
- Remember it’s always cheaper to book as a RCR Member so it’s a good idea to become a member before signing up for an exam. This also has advantages like preferential pricing of the RITI modules which many have found useful.
- Decide in advance a few backup places to book in case your first choice is not available.
- You can book, cancel & reschedule bookings online while bookings are open
- Bookings will close 8 weeks before an exam date but it’s likely that all available spaces on popular venues will be sold out within minutes of the bookings opening.
- Payments must be made for each exam, at the time of booking so please make sure you have enough of a credit limit on your payment card. We would suggest you have at least 1-2 backup cards in case Payment gets refused.
- There is priority access to bookings by 3 categories:
- Members - UK Trainees
- Members - non-UK Trainees
- Non-members
- Apply for membership at least 6 weeks before the exam booking date opens
- You can watch a video that the RCR has made?here
- Results will be visible in the exam hub on the published exam results date.
