New PyroHeater Patent Approved

PyroPhase Dipole PyroHeater patent approved by patent office.

The US patent office has notified PyroPhase that the claims in our patent application for a DiPole Heaterhave been ‘allowed”, and the patent will issue shortly. The Dipole is an improvement on the original PyroHeater in that it allows RF radiation to penetrate into the pay zone around the well and more directly heat the resource to reduce viscosity. The original PyroHeater relies on heat conduction from the well casing. Both original and Dipole PyroHeaters increase flow of heavy oil into the well, but the Dipole increases flow almost twice as much according to computer models.
