I am happy to share with you our newest open access publication: Ina Reiche et al., First discovery of charcoal-based prehistoric cave art in Dordogne, Scientific Reports, DOI: 10.1038/s41598-023-47652-1

This opens up new challenging perspectives with respect to absolute dating of the cave art of Font-de-Gaume. The research was supported by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux and the Service Régional d'Archéologie thanks to an Opération archéologique programmée. We thank all colleagues that helped us continuously in our research at such a fascinating site.
