New Projects, Big Wins, and Powering the Future: What’s Next for Pleavin Power?

New Projects, Big Wins, and Powering the Future: What’s Next for Pleavin Power?

I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating: this year is shaping up to be one of our biggest yet at Pleavin Power. We’re not just seeing growth, we’re driving it—and it’s all thanks to the commitment, passion, and tireless hard work from the team. If the past few weeks have been intense, the past couple of months have been non-stop. One call can flip the switch from a routine week to emergency responses, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s a quick update on what’s been going on.?

Welcoming James Webster to the team?

First things first, I’m excited to announce that James Webster has joined us as Technical Support Manager. His expertise will be crucial as we continue to take on more complex and technical projects in the years ahead. James will be at the forefront of ensuring we continue to deliver the high standards of service and support our clients rely on. He’s already hit the ground running and will no doubt be a key part of our future success.?

Substation Project with EMR?

Following the success of a disaster recovery project, we’ve just embarked on a new partnership with EMR, working on a major substation construction project. This involves the design, supply, and installation of a brand-new HV substation. Projects like this are what Pleavin Power is all about—getting stuck into the technical and critical infrastructure that helps power industries forward. It's early days, but we’re confident this will be one of our standout projects of the year.?

Disaster Recovery for Key Clients?

In the past few weeks, we’ve also completed a significant disaster recovery operation for multiple clients. This included a business in the animal feed sector where an emergency response was critical to their operations. The team worked around the clock to restore power before sunrise, proving once again that when disaster strikes, Pleavin Power is ready. Our ability to respond quickly and effectively to these kinds of emergencies is exactly why our clients trust us with their most critical operations.?

Partnering with RedCore Digital?

We’ve recently partnered with RedCore Digital, who will be supporting us with our web design and SEO. At Pleavin Power, we’ve always had a huge focus on our client journey, and that journey often starts with someone simply looking at our website. We want to make sure that potential clients have everything they need to get started with us quickly and easily. RedCore shares our vision for success, and we’re confident this partnership will help us create a seamless experience from the very first interaction.?

Data Centre Demonstration?

For one of our long-standing data centre clients, we recently provided a demonstration of a load bank solution. This 2000kW load bank has been designed specifically to integrate with their on-site generators, and will be configured for automatic load testing via ComAp controllers. It’s all about ensuring continuous performance and reliability—two things that are absolutely essential for a data centre. We’re always looking to innovate and refine our services to make sure our clients get exactly what they need, when they need it.?

Celebrating 5 Years?of 'Dan The Man'

A big shoutout is in order for Dan, one of our engineers who has just celebrated his 5-year anniversary with us. Dan has been instrumental in the growth of Pleavin Power, and his technical expertise and dedication to supporting our clients is second to none. It’s people like Dan that make us who we are—without the team’s hard work and commitment, we simply couldn’t deliver the results we do.?

Finalist for 'Contractor of the Year'?

Lastly, I’m thrilled to announce that we are finalists for 'Contractor of the Year' at the Electrical Industry Awards. While we don’t measure our success on awards alone, it’s always great to be recognised for the work we do. Being shortlisted for this award is a testament to the entire team’s hard work and dedication. We’ve got our fingers crossed, but whatever the outcome, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far.? ? It’s been a busy and challenging few months, but with every new project and every milestone we hit, it feels like we’re only just getting started. Whether it’s technical projects like the substation construction, emergency responses, or keeping our long-term clients happy, I couldn’t be prouder of what the team is achieving. We’re about to hit a season that is often our busiest and whilst unexpected quiet times have been difficult right across the industry, we’re hoping this coming season is the catalyst of growth we’ve been preparing for.??
