New product innovation, industry insights and global flavours on show as Speciality & Fine Food Fair prepares to return

There's less than one month to go until Speciality & Fine Food Fair opens its doors for its 23rd edition, taking place on 5-6 September at Olympia London.

The UK's leading showcase of artisanal food & drink, the Fair has an unparalleled line-up of diverse and delicious products from across the UK and around the world, along with a packed line-up of leading industry speakers set to take to the stage across the two days of the event.

Discussions on the Fair's Food for Thought Stage will kick off with a session from Charles Banks of thefoodpeople and Kelly Dowson of Good Sense Research taking a deep dive into to the latest trends in sustainability and ESG in food & drink, followed by an in-depth session with Artisan Food Club’s Marcus Carter, Julia Kirby-Smith of Fridge of Plenty, Holtwhites Bakery’s Kate Smith and Jan Robijns of The Broadway Deli & Grocery as they look at how a personalised customer service can lead to an increase in total basket spend.??

An exciting new partnership for this year's event is with FDReviews, the food & drink development support platform which connects food & drink entrepreneurs with experienced industry experts who provide feedback and guidance to steer their product development.

Over 25 experts from the FDReviews team will be on hand at the Fair to take part in FREE, pre-booked 15-minute sessions with food & drink businesses to provide confidential advice on the best next steps for their products.

It's an extremely rare and valuable opportunity to get genuine, objective product feedback from some of the best in business.

One of the most popular parts of the Fair each year is the Discovery Zone - a dedicated area for food & drink business that have been operating for less than three years. This part of the event has been the launchpad for some fantastic brands in specialty food & drink and this year the zone is once again packed with exciting young companies looking to make their mark on this vibrant sector.

Among the fantastic products from around the world at this year's event is I Love Fruit & Veg From Europe, a combined campaign funded by the European Union and supported by over 900 fresh produce suppliers across the EU.

From further afield, International Trade Centre will be returning to the Fair to showcase African, Caribbean and Pacific Island products, including a range of coffee, chocolate, ginger, spice and other condiments.
