It’s not just about staying up to date with the latest trends and listening to consumers’ needs, you also have to adopt a systematic approach that takes into account the benefits for the consumers, the product integrity and commercial viability. I wanted to share some thoughts on this important topic and I hope you may find something of interest in those slides.
From a project management perspective, it is important to gather a multi-disciplinary team that can collaborate effectively and adhere to a pre-defined timeline. I suggest a stage-gate process where key stakeholders review the project objectively against set criteria to manage risk and make informed decisions that are best suited to the product pipeline and project portfolio around new product development and innovation for your business.
