New prizes, podcasts & articles for the BBL & our cricket page revamped for the summer

Exactly a week to go until BBL 13 gets underway & at Wicky, we can't wait for the start of the new season! On this week's Crunching the Numbers, there's a milestone to report from our efforts for BBL Supercoach plus something new on the content side of things for season 2023-24, set to go live early next week.

That's not all - we've also done up our website to show off our player stats pages for T20 leagues as we head onward into the summer of cricket.

New prizes & new podcast - it's all happening for BBL Supercoach!

This week's episode of Wicky's BBL Supercoach Watch was number four - and our penultimate preseason podcast with just a week to go until the start of this year's BBL.

We've got some runway in the BBL Supercoach podcasting space heading into the new season and we're aiming to follow up this week's show on player roles with something different next Monday.

It's our last stop before the BBL preseason train leaves the station, so keep an eye out across YouTube and major podcast platforms early next week!

There's some more cool news - we're running a BBL Supercoach league this season as last, but this time we're adding more prizes to the pool the more people sign up.

Our first target was 100 entries and yesterday, just over a week out from the start of the BBL, we sailed past that checkpoint and put another prize up for grabs to our community!

Our next target is 150 - having hit 100 players, we're adding new prizes every 50 entries now - and as of this writing, we're well on the way to that goal with 111 Supercoaches.

The Cricket page on our website has a new look

The summer of T20 cricket is almost here and we've done up our website to make it fighting fit for the upcoming season! The Cricket page on wicky.ai , accessible via the home page or this link here , is a one-stop shop for the next 3 months of T20 action.

Our Men's and Women's T20 Portals have pride of place, and are joined by our T20 Cricket Simulator, Draftstars Cricket Stats Bible, and a section for our articles.

We're debuting our BBL Supercoach Watch article next week - and it'll be all the best of Wicky in one place

To go along with our BBL Supercoach Watch podcasts, we're also running BBL Supercoach Watch articles before every round this season, beginning with the Round 1 preview early next week.

The articles will run through the teams and games for that round, breaking down picks, talking strategy, and diving into venue, opposition, matchup, and other stats to help users build their team for the round.

But we also want to make them a showcase of the best of Wicky's cricket work - a culmination of all our effort and data tools prepared specifically for BBL Supercoach, and general player stats pages that nonetheless offer value to fantasy players.
