New principal, Edgar Schwandt, joins NewForesight to drive the transition to a sustainable economy.

Utrecht, The Netherlands – NewForesight is pleased to announce the addition of Edgar Schwandt as new principal to their team. Edgar brings a wealth of experience in different domains, with a particular focus on (preventive) health, organization and behavior change, and strategy deployment.

Edgar's drive for tackling complex sustainability problems and wide range of experience in both consultancy as well as management make him an ideal addition to NewForesight’s team. As a strategy consultant, he has led projects in various industries, ranging from product portfolio review for life insurance to value chain optimization for vegetables and fruits. He has also coordinated and realized change programs in large organizations.

Edgar's experience as a manager and innovator has given him a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities involved in realizing a vision. He holds a BSc in Applied Physics and an MSc in Philosophy of Science, Technology, and Society, with honors, from the University of Twente.
