New President of the Association of Bottled Waters of Slovenia GIZ Assembly

Luka Velepi?, CEO of Costella Water Bottling Company, was appointed as the new President of the Association of Bottled Waters of Slovenia GIZ. He was unanimously elected for the mandate of 4 years on the latest Association’s assembly, which took place on November 8, 2017.

After approving the appointment of the new president Velepi? said: “I am very grateful for and unanimous support to all member organizations. For Costella, as the youngest and the only member of Association with production based solely on water and waters category, this is a tremendous and responsibility. I strongly believe that unified cooperation between responsible persons of member organizations, together with the support of our industry, will empower ’ level of awareness regarding the quality of Slovenian bottled waters and support efforts in management of our water sources.”

The Slovenian Association of Bottled Waters GIZ, also a member of the European Federation of Bottled Waters/EFBW, was founded in November 2004. Both Slovenian’s and European’s Association efforts are concentrated on three main areas, which show many and challenges for bottled water organizations: technology and legislation, obligations and activities of organizations towards the environment and communication.
