New Police Headquarters Nearing Completion

Steve Clark, President and CEO of the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, toured the state-of-the-art Fayetteville Police Headquarters accompanied by Deputy Chief Jamie Fields. The $36.9 million headquarters is a three-building campus-style concept that is under construction and expected to be completed in August 2022.

The headquarters construction is part of a voter-approved project to expand and modernize facilities to improve public and law enforcement safety.?The new headquarters is 82,630 square feet and replaces the existing 27,000 square foot headquarters.?

The headquarters will include the main police department and an upgraded training facility to “increase the efficiency and operational readiness of the police department”, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
