New PLAIN Board for 2024

The international association for plain language professionals that promotes clear communication in any language.
A very warm welcome to PLAIN’s new board voted in at our recent AGM.
We wish a heartfelt farewell to all the board members stepping down — you will be missed — but we’re very excited to see where the new board takes PLAIN in 2024.
Lodewijk van Noort has been elected as President with Torunn Reksten supporting as Vice President. Along with Nicole Watkins Campbell and Heloisa Fischer , they are the only board members from the previous administration.
In PLAIN's member newsletter, Lodewijk expressed optimism at one of the largest changes in the association's history.
In the coming weeks, the new PLAIN board will take the time to get to know each other better and chart a course for the upcoming year. It might take a little while before you hear from us again, but trust me, the new board is brimming with energy and great ideas.
