A NEW PERSPECTIVE

There comes a time in every person's life….

Nope, let’s not be poetic about this one. We’re jumping right into the thick of it.?

So, change has to come sooner or later. Said change can come as an inspiration from personal experiences, or it can be something that’s been brewing for a while, and we just choose to turn a blind eye to it.

On a personal level, each of us may go through experiences that make us reevaluate our priorities in life, diverting our attention towards how we'd like to focus our time, money and energy in the future. That can happen during a conversation, an epiphany or even on a ‘Love, Eat, Pray’ type of adventure. The question is, does the immediacy of such an inspiration diminish its weight or importance? And, the answer is: Hell no! Some of the biggest innovations and profound changes in the history of humanity came as a result of sudden epiphanies.?

As for changes that have been brewing for a while, that’s a different situation. You know when something’s broken in your house and you just find an alternative way around it, instead of fixing it? And, when it makes even less sense to you when someone comes and asks you why leave it broken that way? The reason why that’s relatable to most people is because the majority of people will take such decisions to just ‘keep the ball rolling’.?

Logically, a regular re-evaluation of our directions and modes of operation is something that we should prioritize. Temporary fixes are supposed to be what they are, temporary. And, whatever process and direction you have as a business needs to keep up with the constant changes in your industry. If that “ball” needs to stop rolling for a second to make that happen, then so be it. To summarize, a change of perspective every once in a while is not only beneficial, it’s necessary. Times change, and we should do our best to keep up in the most logical ways possible.?
