NEW PCA Members in May 2024

Summer is here! ?? ??

A quarterly Board of Directors meeting marks the changing of the season, and, appropriately, new appointments bring fresh and diverse perspectives to our table.

After our June 14 meeting, six new Director-Level Members were added to the board, two of whom were new Members. Joining our Board of Directors has historically been a tried-and-true way to observe the next generation of leaders emerge, but it is only one avenue to engage with us. ??

If you haven’t met them, here are some of our newest Phoenix Community Alliance (PCA) Members!

??: Why did you/your company become a Member?

??: Arizona Forward believes in the value of bringing together diverse voices. Our strength lies in convening dialogue around the state’s most critical sustainability issues. We look forward to joining the other community businesses and partners united in the mission to build and create a healthy community.

??: What are your goals for the membership?

??: We desire to meet new people, attend activities and special events, and positively contribute to our growing community. But we also want to introduce Elaine - SDOH Transportation to others about WHO we are and WHAT we do.

??: We are excited to meet our neighbors who are committed to making our community a better place to live, work, and play. Our hope is to contribute to the dialogue and offer any resources that we can to facilitate growth and foster an ever-greater sense of community.

??: How do you hope to impact and engage with the community?

??: Similar to PCA, we host issue Committees and other opportunities for Members to interact with each other and the community at large. We welcome opportunities to learn from our neighbors, exchange ideas, and collaborate on projects that align with our goals.

??: Providing the opportunity for no-cost transportation eliminates a barrier to a LARGE population of individuals experiencing homelessness. We want to inspire a spark of hope to the underserved by providing resources that impact and engage our community through intentional collaboration with like-minded Members!

??: What attracted your organization to #DTPHX?

??: Arizona Forward is a statewide organization headquartered in Phoenix. We seek to welcome and include all community members from across our great state and are thrilled that we have an opportunity to engage further with our friends in Downtown Phoenix.
