A NEW PC STRAND AND PC WIRE PLANT IN TURKEY

With a focus on energy and process efficiency, environmental awareness, and technology evolution, the De?irmencik Integrated Facility in ?anakkale's Biga District includes three steel mills with a capacity of four and a half million tons/year.

??DA? turned to MFL Group for a new plant to produce PC wire and PC strand and finally extend its product portfolio to these new products.

MFL Group provided a complete PC strand (IX series) and PC wire (IF series) lines and drawing lines (S series), designed, and built under Mario Frigerio brand.

Established in 1897, MARIO FRIGERIO brand belongs to the Wire & Rope Machinery Division, and it is one of the oldest and most reliable brands in the field, recognized as the benchmark of made in Italy excellence.

PC WIRE LINE

PC wire is a wire produced with a low relaxation treatment, mainly used as reinforcement for crossties, railway sleepers, pipes, floor slabs for large buildings, outer wall of building and soundproof walls.

IF series by MFL Group is the market benchmark to produce low relaxation pre-stressed concrete (P.C.) wire and it complies with all the international standards.

PC STRAND LINE

IX Series are designed to produce low relaxation pre-stressed concrete strand under all the international standards, while ensuring high performance, efficiency, and solidity.

Whether in bridge construction, parking garages or high-rise buildings, we find PC strand wire everywhere. This form of wire is used in bridge construction in the form of wire ropes or in the construction concrete reinforced steel elements.

MFL Group’s PC strand line boasts these features:

·????? Possibility to produce galvanized wire strand

·????? Possibility to install an additional 12 wires planetary or tubular strander to have 1+6+12 wires
