New Partnerships in 2024

2024 Milestones: Welcoming New Customers from the DEA, NIST, and Across the Nation

At HazSim, our commitment to improving safety training for hazardous environments has continued to grow. This year, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with various organizations, from federal agencies to local municipalities, all working to enhance the safety and preparedness of their teams.

We’re thrilled to announce the addition of several new customers who have adopted HazSim’s technology to strengthen their training programs:

  • National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST): NIST has chosen HazSim to test and evaluate different training methods by comparing them against realistic training scenarios generated by HazSim’s system. This allows NIST to refine its safety protocols and ensure that teams receive the most effective training without using hazardous substances.
  • Cumberland County & Bergen County Technical College: Both Cumberland County and Bergen County Technical College use HazSim to give first responders and students hands-on experience in safely managing hazardous materials.
  • Honolulu Fire Department & Charlotte, NC: Fire departments in major cities like Honolulu and Charlotte benefit from HazSim’s realistic, scenario-based training to improve their hazardous materials response capabilities.
  • EMED Training & Arrow Safety: HazSim’s technology has also been adopted by these private-sector companies, helping to ensure that their teams receive thorough, real-time training for hazardous environments.
  • Williams County, ND: Williams County is among the growing number of municipalities using HazSim to prepare their first responders for dangerous real-world materials situations, with a focus on safety and effectiveness.

Real-World Training for Real-World Risks

Our platform simulates real-time, dynamic hazardous material incidents, allowing teams to train in realistic, live environments. Designed by a hazmat responder, our system enhances situational awareness and decision-making under pressure. NIST has currently chosen HazSim to test training methods, ensuring they are backed by the realism and effectiveness that HazSim provides.
