New ParleIoT Logo and Resynchronization Demo
We are excited to share the new ParleIoT logo with you! It took us a while to get the design exactly how we wanted it, but now it is time to share it with all of you! ??
Resynchronisation
Based on real-world requirements, we have added the option to include regular resynchronisation frames in the stream. This will allow our differential decompression algorithm to catch up after more packets have been lost than permitted by the minimum required robustness level. The setting will allow you to tune the algorithm for optimal performance in your specific conditions.
To get started, head over to our ParleIoT website.
You do not need to use this feature if your stack has a lossless data transport protocol layer. Sending regular resynchronisation frames will hurt the compression performance, but with careful tuning, you will not experience serious disadvantages.
To highlight this, we are comparing the performance with and without resynchronisation in the graphs below for auto-generated dummy data with no required robustness and a tracking period of one hundred.
We observe a decrease in compression performance by about two per cent, but we gain the confidence that we can decompress valuable data, no matter what.
ParleIoT can handle difficult data transmission conditions like low Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) wireless scenarios in #LoRaWAN or Satellite-IoT.
Early Adopters
We are actively seeking early adopters to experience the power of ParleIoT firsthand. ??
