New Paintings, but still has a touch of Picasso construction

I wonder how many artists have incorporated certain techniques they have studied in art school. I was always fascinated by Picasso's constructioned compositions, particularly after his rose and blue periods, then cubist, and later, his referential pieces. I think some semblance of technique stuck with me, even though it's a Guthrie, not a Picasso.

Pardon my grammar, should be 'have' not 'has' in the title.
